Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, Wednesbury
We are seeking to appoint an additional teaching assistant to work in a primary setting in the Wednesbury area. The school has an amazing reputation locally and has a fantastic family-feel amongst its staff & parents who speak highly of the support & development of the amazing children who attend. You will be working in small class environments of around 8 children per class in fit-for-purpose classrooms, which are designed at the complete benefit of the child the school is designed to help give a full, enjoyable & thorough education. - Previous experience working with young people who are severely autistic is required. - A proactive, can-do attitude is essential & will help you grow as the school is keen to support the right support staff who join the school’s family. Previous school experience would be beneficial, as would formal qualifications, however we are willing to consider full-time & part-time additions to the school who hold transferrable experience from care, residential & support care backgrounds. Ideally, we are looking for TAs who can work Monday to Friday, however we will consider applicants with less day’s availability. However, school times of 08:30 until 3:30 is compulsory. This role will pay via PAYE payment, you will be paid a week in arrears which will be on a daily rate starting from £83.40 per day dependent on experience & qualifications.
