We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher with SEND experience to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in an inclusive classroom setting and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Role Overview: As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons while providing tailored support to students with SEND. You will work closely with teaching assistants and other staff members to create an environment that promotes learning for all students. This role will give you the opportunity to work in a variety of primary school settings, gaining experience across different year groups and diverse learning environments. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities, including SEND students. • Develop and implement individual learning plans (ILPs) for students with SEND. • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to ensure all students are fully included in lessons. • Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. • Collaborate with support staff and parents to ensure that SEND students receive the appropriate level of support. • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and respect. Key Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Experience working with children with SEND, either within mainstream or specialist settings. • Strong understanding of SEND provisions and strategies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to teaching. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service If you are passionate about supporting children with SEND and making a positive impact in their education, we would love to hear from you!
