We are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in the Dudley area. You will be working 1-to-1 with a year 2 child who is autistic and has ADHD. The student themselves is very friendly, calm & approachable, yet struggles to access the mainstream curriculum. Therefore, they have received more support from in-school support staff & the SENCo up to date, they have now received additional funding to enable a long-term full-time SEND teaching assistant to come work 1-to-1. The ideal teaching assistant will have previous experience working 1-to-1 with children or young people and a warm and friendly approach. Official qualifications would be welcomed but they are not required to be considered for this opportunity. You will be paid on a weekly basis with daily rate starting from £95.29 dependent on experience & any qualifications. You will be working Monday to Friday, for the hours of 08:30 until 3:30. This role is term-time only and will run until at least the end of the academic year, however the school are considering a permanent role opening up which you can be considered for or running the role for another academic year to support the child as they will not be moving to a SEND school provision.
