Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Slough
Pay: Dependent on teacher pay scale
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, on a day-to-day supply basis
We are seeking a flexible, reliable and engaging Primary Supply Teacher to work across a range of mainstream primary schools in Slough on a daily supply basis. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and can quickly adapt to different classroom environments, providing high-quality teaching and continuity for pupils in the absence of their regular class teacher.
You will be responsible for delivering lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that learning remains consistent, purposeful and engaging. A strong understanding of the primary curriculum is essential, along with the ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment. On occasions where placements extend beyond short-term cover, you may be required to support with lesson planning and preparation to ensure a smooth transition for pupils.
The successful candidate will hold UK Qualified Teacher Status and have at least one year of experience teaching within a primary setting. You will need to be confident stepping into new classrooms, quickly building rapport with pupils and staff and adapting your teaching style to suit a range of learning needs and personalities. Creativity, strong observational skills and a proactive approach are key, as is the ability to think on your feet and respond to the dynamics of each individual class.
