Primary Teaching Assistant – Dorset

We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream Church of England Primary School in Dorset.
About the role
In this rewarding role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning and build confidence within the classroom.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, your responsibilities may include:
Delivering tailored support to meet individual learning needs
Assisting with differentiated classroom activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Supporting pupils’ social development and independence
Helping to create a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment
