Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teacher to join our team in Dorking, Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess strong pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in students. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters personal growth and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to individual student needs.
• Develop and implement SEMH support strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to effective learning.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with SEMH students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to professional development and teamwork.
