SENDCo – Primary School – Tower Hamlets MPS/UPS (Inner London) | Full-Time | Fixed-Term | Leadership Role Axcis are working with a well-established and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets seeking an experienced and committed SENDCo to lead and develop high-quality SEND provision across the school. About the Role As SENDCo, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for SEND provision across the school, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and driving improvements in outcomes for pupils with additional needs. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading and developing SEND provision across the school • Overseeing EHCP applications, annual reviews and SEN Support plans • Supporting and advising teachers to ensure effective differentiation and inclusive teaching • Line managing and supporting SEND-focused staff • Liaising with external agencies and professionals • Working closely with families to build strong, transparent partnerships • Monitoring progress and using data to inform provision and school improvement You will work as part of the senior leadership structure and play a key role in shaping the school’s inclusive vision. What We Are Looking For • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • NASENCo qualification (or willingness to complete) • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory responsibilities • Experience leading or coordinating SEND provision in a primary setting • Ability to analyse data and drive improvement • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A proactive, solution-focused and collaborative leadership style The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community that values inclusion and professional development.
