Key Responsibilities As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: • Provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND. • Support students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH in the classroom and during wider school activities. • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated learning. • Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development. • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and learning styles. • Help pupils develop communication, confidence, and independence. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who has: • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD, or SEMH. • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Care Assistant, or within an education or care setting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A patient, positive, and adaptable approach. • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families. • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them succeed.
