The school is looking for a confident teacher who can provide high-quality teaching and support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will be comfortable adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs and using technology, including Google Classroom, to support teaching and learning. The Role As a SEND Supply Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range. Adapt teaching approaches and learning materials to meet pupils' individual needs. Support pupils with a range of additional needs and learning differences. Use Google Classroom to access resources, share work and support classroom learning. Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage pupil participation. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff. Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during supply cover. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Previous experience teaching in a primary or SEND setting. Understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and adapting lessons for pupils with additional needs. Confidence using Google Classroom and other digital learning platforms, or a willingness to learn. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments. A positive and supportive approach to teaching and learning.
