Job Title: SEND TA in Wembley
Axcis Education is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated teaching assistant to support children with SEND in a lovely primary school in Wembley. We are seeking an empathetic and passionate individual to work full-time with two boys in Year 4, providing essential support and guidance in their educational journeys. Working hours are 8:30 – 3:30, Monday to Friday and the umbrella rate of pay is from £93.48 per day. In this role, you will have the privilege of working closely with two unique boys, each with their own distinct personalities. One of the boys is quiet and shy, while the other is more energetic. Your main responsibility will be to assist both children in improving their concentration and accessing their academic work effectively. We are looking for a candidate who can skilfully establish boundaries and rules, creating a structured learning environment that fosters growth and engagement. It is equally important to be approachable and nurturing, ensuring the boys feel comfortable seeking assistance and support whenever needed. Requirements: • Hold a minimum of a teaching assistant level 2/3 qualification or possess a degree in any subject. • Excellent verbal and written English skills, enabling effective communication with the children and other staff members. • Previous experience supporting children in a SEND environment. • Basic knowledge of Speech and Language would be advantageous. However, training will be provided at the school to enhance your understanding in this area. At Axcis Education, we believe in empowering our candidates to excel in their roles. As a teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to leave a lasting positive effect on the lives of these children, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
