Our team is passionate about providing tailored support to help students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning disabilities to thrive academically and socially.
Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team in Harold Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with ASD and SLD, employing creative teaching methods to engage and inspire learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with ASD and SLD.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
Utilise a range of teaching resources and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with ASD and SLD in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
