Job Title: SEND Teacher
SEND Teacher – Full Time (Paid to Scale)
Location: Wandsworth, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm
We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEND Teacher to join a supportive school in Wandsworth. This is a full-time role, paid to scale, with consistent working hours from Monday to Friday.
The role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and creating an inclusive, structured learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with SEND
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
• Create a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with SEND (preferred but not essential)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
