Job Title: SEND Teacher
Full-Time | Competitive Salary (dependent on experience)
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional with QTS and a strong background in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to join our supportive and forward-thinking school community in Slough.
About the Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual needs
Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties and moderate learning needs
Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, external agencies and families
Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Track progress carefully and adapt teaching strategies to maximise pupil achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
Experience with differentiated curriculum planning
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
A genuine commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
