Job Title: SEND Teacher Location: Shepperton, Surrey Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Employment Type: Full Time Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team in Shepperton, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality teaching and tailored support to students with diverse learning needs. • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and support staff. • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and guardians. • Create an engaging, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and educational psychologists, to enhance student experiences. • Participate in professional development and training to stay current with best practices in SEND education. Qualifications: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience in SEND education. • Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and strategies for supporting diverse learners. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to student welfare.
