Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Manchester, Stockport, and Trafford Pay: £100 – £125 per day Contract Type: Full-time / Block bookings About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to take on a varied role within supportive primary schools. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy classroom delivery and are comfortable stepping in to lead lessons in the teacher’s absence. Key Responsibilities: Covering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Delivering targeted intervention sessions for booster groups (SATS preparation). Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning culture. Working closely with the teaching team to provide feedback on pupil progress. Requirements: HLTA status or a relevant Degree/Teaching Qualification. Proven experience independently leading full classes in a UK primary school.
