Job Title: SEND Teacher
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a welcoming all-age SEND school in Maidenhead on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and helping them achieve both academically and personally within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a minimum of one year’s teaching experience, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting. The role involves working with pupils across various age groups and supporting a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
The school is looking for someone who is adaptable, patient and confident working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents and external professionals. Strong behaviour management skills, a child-centred approach and a genuine passion for SEND education are essential.
Role Details:
Full-time position
Monday to Friday
Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay dependent on teacher pay scale and experience
September or immediate start
