Position: SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) Teacher Location: Hampton, London Type: Full-time, Permanent (8:00?am – 3:30?pm, Mon-Fri) Salary: Paid to Scale About the Role We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join our vibrant Hampton campus. You will deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction for pupils with a range of additional needs, fostering inclusive learning environments that promote academic progress, independence, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons in line with the National Curriculum and individual Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs). • Conduct regular assessments, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to meet each pupil’s targets. • Collaborate with classroom teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support. • Implement behaviour-management strategies that are respectful, restorative, and evidence-based. • Contribute to the development and review of SEND policies, safeguarding procedures, and whole-school inclusion initiatives. • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and CPD sessions. Person Specification • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognized SEND specialization (e.g., PGCE, MA). • Experience teaching pupils with complex needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language, physical disabilities). • Strong knowledge of statutory frameworks (SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs). • Excellent communication, organisational, and collaborative skills. • Commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional growth.
