Job Title: SEND Teacher
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils with high and complex needs from September 2026. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and offers the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact within a highly supportive educational setting.
Although this is a secondary class, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all subjects and will remain with the class throughout the school day, providing consistency, routine, and strong relationship-based support. The role requires someone who is calm, adaptable, and able to create a nurturing and structured learning environment tailored to the individual needs of the pupils.
We are looking for a teacher who has experience working with children and young people with SEND, particularly those with complex learning, communication, sensory, and behavioural needs. High levels of patience, resilience, empathy, and emotional understanding are essential for this role, alongside the ability to build positive relationships and support pupils to achieve meaningful progress.
The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience within specialist settings or supporting pupils with additional needs is highly desirable.
You will work closely with experienced support staff, therapists, and families to deliver personalised learning and support pupils in reaching their EHCP outcomes. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every child thrive in a supportive and specialist environment.
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm. Salary dependent on teacher pay scale and experience.
