SEND Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Behaviour Support (Male Student) – PRU – Dagenham From £94/day | PRU | Barking & Dagenham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Dagenham seeking a resilient and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a male student in KS4 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The school has a restorative, relationship-based ethos and strong pastoral systems that support both students and staff. In this role, you will be: • Providing consistent 1:1 support for a male student with SEMH and challenging behaviour. • Implementing positive behaviour strategies, de-escalation and emotional regulation techniques. • Supporting in lessons, breaks and vocational sessions to build trust and confidence. • Liaising with teachers, the SENCO and family to track progress and maintain consistency.
