SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism & Social Skills Support
Location: Bedworth, Warwickshire
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Axcis Education is seeking patient and creative SEND Teaching Assistants for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition.
The Role:
- 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASC
- Use visual schedules, PECS, and social stories
- Support emotional regulation and social skills development
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and families
About You:
- Experience with ASC and social skill support
- Calm, nurturing, and structured
- Confident using visual and communication strategies
