Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (full-time) in Slough
An inspiring and dedicated school in Slough is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This fulfilling position offers an opportunity to work closely with students with ASD, PMLD, complex needs and behavioural challenges, supporting their growth in a caring and inclusive environment.
This full-time role requires availability from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a daily starting salary of £93.48 (umbrella rate). As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalised support tailored to each student's unique needs, whether through one-on-one sessions, small group interactions or classroom-wide assistance. Your role will also involve aiding in the implementation of individual care plans designed to help each student succeed.
While prior experience with SEND students is highly preferred, the school values candidates who are proactive, energetic and deeply committed to engaging with students. The position involves working across various age groups, so the ability to adapt to children with differing needs and developmental stages is essential.
