A welcoming and expanding all-through special school in Hungerford is seeking a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time basis.
In this rewarding role, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with autism and a range of additional learning needs. Working closely with both students and teaching staff, you will help create a positive, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and confident to learn. Your responsibilities will include supporting pupils with their academic development, emotional wellbeing and social interaction, as well as assisting with personal care when required.
The successful candidate will be:
Patient, caring and understanding
Passionate about supporting children with SEND
Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
Committed to helping children achieve their individual goals
Previous experience working with children with autism, SEND or additional needs would be advantageous. However, the school is equally keen to hear from individuals with the right attitude, a genuine desire to help others and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career in education while making a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of children with additional needs.
