SEND Teaching Assistant – Personal Care & Complex Needs – Warwick Location: Warwick Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week Axcis Education is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small-group support for three students with physical disabilities who use wheelchairs in a Warwick school. This is a varied role combining learning support with personal care. The Role: You will: • Support pupils with complex physical needs and learning difficulties. • Assist with hoisting, feeding, and toileting (full training provided). • Use sensory approaches and assistive technology in lessons. • Provide emotional reassurance and create a safe, supportive environment. • Work closely with therapists, class staff, and parents to meet care plans. About You: • Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or physical disabilities. • Compassionate, practical, and comfortable with personal care. • Patient and adaptable, with a team-focused approach. • Confident in supporting learning alongside care responsibilities.
