Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Primary
SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (ARP) | Finchley | ASAP Start | Full-Time
Axcis Education is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Finchley. This is a full-time, long-term role working within the school’s Additional Resource Provision (ARP), supporting pupils with Autism and other complex needs.
You’ll be joining a small, structured setting with 7–9 pupils per class, working closely with a skilled team of teachers and therapists to help each child reach their potential. The ideal candidate will be confident managing challenging behaviour, calm under pressure, and passionate about making a difference.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD or SEMH needs
Confidence with challenging behaviour and positive behaviour strategies
Ideally, previous experience in an ARP or special school setting
A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach
Details:
Location: Finchley
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30–4:00
Pay: From £89 per day (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
