Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Solihull
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school near Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

This full-time position will begin in September and runs Monday to Friday. You will support pupils with a variety of complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning and achieve their individual goals. The daily rate for this role is £92.63 per day.
The Role
Supporting pupils aged 4–11 years old
Working closely with children who have a range of SEND requirements
Delivering tailored support to meet individual learning and development needs
Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence within the classroom
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Promoting a calm, supportive, and structured learning environment
Requirements
Previous experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting
Effective behaviour management skills
A patient, caring, and empathetic approach
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Available to work 8:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday
