Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.

Axcis are currently looking to recruit additional SEND TA's, to support an 11-19 provision for children who have a range of learning difficulties and additional needs. They cater for up to 330 students who have Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, Physical Disability, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
The school is a smaller than average secondary provision, which caters specifically for students with a range of needs including; MLD, PMLD, Autism, ADHD and SEMH difficulties.
As a SEND Teaching assistant with Axcis you will:
• Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
• Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
• Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum
• Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
• Be passionate about supporting students with SEND
• Provide support advice and guidance
• Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
