Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Wandsworth, London
Pay: £90–£95 per day
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time in a supportive school based in Wandsworth, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities reach their full potential.
Role Overview:
• Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
• Location: Wandsworth, London
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm
• Pay: £90–£95 per day
• Contract: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
• Support learning, behaviour, and emotional development in and out of the classroom
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support strategies
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have experience supporting children with SEND (school experience preferred)
• Be patient, proactive, and enthusiastic
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
