Are you a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
A warm and inclusive SEND school in Reading is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from early December 2025.
This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils across all age groups who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including SLD, PMLD, ASD, challenging behaviour, and complex medical needs. You’ll play a key part in helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally, providing the care and encouragement they need to thrive.
No two days are the same — you’ll need to be flexible, patient, and ready to adapt as you support different classes and students throughout the week. The role will also include personal care, so a caring and professional attitude is essential.

Experience working with children or young people with SEND
Confidence supporting pupils with complex and varied needs
Willingness to assist with personal care and medical needs (training provided)
A flexible, proactive and resilient approach
