Hours: 08:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday, term-time only
Pay: Starting at £95.29 per day

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Uxbridge. This role involves working with students who have moderate to severe needs, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), speech and language difficulties, and other complex learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide tailored support and personal care for students with complex needs
-Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
-Support students' development of communication and social skills
-Help maintain a safe, positive learning environment, employing strong behaviour management skills
Requirements:
-Prior UK experience within SEN settings
-Strong verbal communication skills in English
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child and Adult Workforce)
-Comfort with personal care tasks
-Manual handling training (preferred)
