Job Title: Support Assistant
Support Assistant – Adult Care Centre (N8)
ASAP Start | Hours 9 am 3.45 pm
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Assistant to join a welcoming adult care centre in N8. This role involves supporting adults with a range of physical, learning and behavioural needs, with personal care forming a key part of the role.
Key responsibilities:
Providing personal care support with dignity and respect
Supporting adults with behavioural and emotional needs in a calm and consistent manner
Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
Supporting communication and social interaction
Maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment
Working closely with colleagues and following individual care and support plans
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working in an adult care or support setting
Be confident supporting individuals with behavioural needs
Be patient, compassionate and resilient
Have a good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety
