Position: Year?6 Class Teacher (Part-time) Location: Kingston, Surrey Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays,?08:00?–?15:30 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year?6 teacher to join our thriving primary school in Kingston, Surrey. Working two days per week, you will deliver a high-quality curriculum, nurture student growth, and contribute to a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Plan, deliver, and assess the full Year?6 curriculum (English, Maths, Science, and foundation subjects). • Create engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners. • Manage classroom behaviour using school policies and promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere. • Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress. • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership. • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and relevant school events on designated days. Essential Qualifications & Experience • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England. • Minimum 2?years teaching experience in a primary setting, preferably with Year?6. • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks. • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Desirable • Experience with mixed-ability groups and SEN provision. • Commitment to continuous professional development.
