Working Pattern: Term time only, Monday to Friday
Hours: Between 7:00am and 4:30pm (varied shifts)
Pay: £89 – £95 per day (weekly pay)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and experienced team at a SEN school in Blandford Forum. This is an exciting opportunity to work 1:1 with students who have a range of complex needs, including autism and other special educational needs.
The school provides a safe and nurturing environment where young people are supported through both tailored national curriculum programmes and life skills development. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve their personal goals.
The role:
• Support individual students to remain focused and engaged in their learning
• Work closely with the teacher to prepare and deliver learning materials
• Assist in both classroom-based and community-based learning activities
• Help students progress not only academically, but in areas like self-help, communication, social understanding, and independence
The candidate:
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with additional needs
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility and a team-focused approach
• Knowledge or experience of working with autism or SEN (desirable)
