Job Title: Teaching Assistant, All-Age PMLD-Specific Special School, Full-Time
Axcis are looking for an compassionate, caring and clear-headed individual with a calm and empathetic nature to work in a PMLD special school in Birmingham. The school is looking to recruit an unqualified teaching assistant to join their proactive team. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the current academic year. The perfect TA will support a specific child(ren) on a 1:1 or small group basis, across a range of different subjects, therefore you do not need in depth subject knowledge, and instead, skills/experience in working with individuals with Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and/or medical needs are highly desirable.
