Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEND) - Slough
Teaching Assistant – All-Through SEND School, Slough, September 2025 Start
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
We’re supporting a well-established specialist school in Slough that provides education and support for pupils aged 4 to 19 with a broad spectrum of additional learning needs. They’re seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025.
This position is well-suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role demands consistency, empathy and the ability to adapt quickly — whether you're assisting with classroom activities, offering personal care or responding to changing routines throughout the day.
What they’re looking for:
• Minimum of 3 months’ experience supporting individuals with SEND in a school or care setting
• Confidence working across a mixed age range (from early years to post-16)
• A proactive, composed and flexible attitude — initiative is highly valued
• Willingness to support with personal care as needed
Other experience we’ll consider:
• Personal experience supporting someone with additional needs
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
If you're motivated by making a tangible difference and are comfortable working in a setting where no two days are the same, this could be a great match. The school is inclusive, forward-thinking and looking for someone who will be a steady presence for their learners.
To apply, send us your CV — shortlisted applicants will be contacted to arrange a compliance and registration interview.
