Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Lower KS2)
Location: L28 Area
Position: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a child's education? We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled TA to work 1:1 with a child in Lower Key Stage 2, providing tailored support to help them thrive in a mainstream classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support to a child in Lower KS2, helping them stay engaged and progress in their learning.
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual learning strategies.
• Assist with SEN support, including social, emotional, and academic development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with the child, staff, and parents to ensure a consistent approach.
Key Requirements:
? Experience working in KS2 and supporting children with SEN.
? Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, nurturing approach.
? A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable).
? A valid DBS on the update service (essential).
