Key Responsibilities • Provide classroom support to the class teacher across the curriculum. • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives. • Assist with behaviour management and promote a positive learning atmosphere. • Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusive practice. • Prepare learning materials and maintain a tidy, organised classroom space. • Supervise pupils during non-classroom times where required. Requirements • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting. • A relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff. • A flexible, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning. • An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
