SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Wimbledon, Southwest London Hours: Full-time | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Salary: £89 – £110 per day Contract: Long-term Start Date: ASAP – February 2026 A respected specialist day and residential school in Wimbledon is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from February 2026. The school supports children and young people aged 2–19 with Vision Impairment, Hearing Impairment, and Multi-Sensory Impairments. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP in February 2026, offering the chance to work within a nurturing, inclusive environment where every learner is encouraged to thrive. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential through sensory-based and personalised learning approaches. Your responsibilities will include: – Providing one-to-one and small group support within the classroom – Assisting with the delivery of tailored education and communication plans – Working closely with teachers and therapy professionals to support academic and developmental goals – Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interaction – Promoting a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference and eager to develop their skills.
