Our education recruitment agency is currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school near Kilburn to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, permanent position.
The role involves providing 1:1 support to a young child (aged 2–7) who is non-verbal, requiring a calm, patient and consistent approach throughout the school day.
The Role
Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the child’s individual learning and communication needs
Support engagement with classroom activities and daily routines
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
Implement structured strategies to support communication, emotional regulation and development
Ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with early years or primary-aged children
Experience supporting SEND pupils, particularly non-verbal children, is highly desirable
Patient, empathetic and reliable with a strong commitment to child-centred support
Able to work full-time hours consistently

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Near Kilburn
Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
