Job Title: Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism Resource Provision (ARP) – Havering
£95–£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term
Axcis are supporting a well-established primary school in Havering with a dedicated Autism Resource Provision (ARP) supporting approximately 12 pupils. The ARP provides a calm, structured and highly supportive learning environment, while maintaining opportunities for inclusion into mainstream lessons.
About the Role
You will:
• Support pupils within the ARP setting
• Use structured routines and visual supports
• Assist with sensory regulation strategies
• Support transitions between ARP and mainstream classes
• Contribute towards EHCP progress tracking

• Experience working with autism (ARP or special school desirable)
• Understanding of sensory and communication needs
• Patient, nurturing and reliable approach
• Commitment to full-time, long-term work
