Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Secondary Academic Mentor (Teaching Assistant)
North West London
£90–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
About the Role
A high-performing secondary academy in North West London is seeking a motivated and academically strong Graduate Academic Mentor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers or graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive and ambitious school environment.
You will work closely with teaching staff across a range of subjects, providing in-class support, delivering small group interventions, and helping to raise attainment across Key Stages 3–5.

The Role Includes:
Supporting students in lessons across a variety of subjects
Delivering targeted interventions (1:1 and small groups)
Assisting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery
Encouraging engagement and supporting students of varying abilities
Supporting students with additional needs where required
Ideal Candidate:
A graduate (2:2 or above) – ideally in English, Maths, or a Science-related subject
Passionate about education and supporting young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident working with secondary-aged students
Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
