Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH & Behaviour Support) Locations: West Ealing & Greenford, Ealing Trial Dates: Late June, July & Early September 2026 Start Date: ASAP / September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:45pm Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) About the Role Axcis Education is working in partnership with two supportive and well-established SEND schools based in West Ealing and Greenford, Ealing, to recruit experienced and engaging Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles starting ASAP and continuing into September 2026. Trials will be taking place during late June, throughout July, and potentially early September for suitable candidates. The Greenford site caters for Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 pupils, while the West Ealing site supports Primary and Secondary-aged pupils. Both schools support students with moderate SEND needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and behavioural challenges. These schools are looking for calm, understanding, and proactive candidates who have strong experience supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. Staff are expected to build positive relationships with pupils, support emotional regulation, and help create a safe and engaging learning environment. The schools also provide ongoing training and guidance to help staff continue developing their SEND knowledge and classroom practice.
