Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Full-Time Teaching Assistant (TA) – Mainstream School Location: Salisbury Salary: £92–£100 per day Start Date: September 2026 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream school in Salisbury from September. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential in the classroom. The Role: Supporting pupils across a range of year groups within a mainstream school setting. Assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and activities. Providing one-to-one and small group support where required. Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Supporting pupils with additional needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working with children in an educational, care, youth work, coaching, or support setting. SEMH experience is desirable, either through professional roles or personal experience. A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
