Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026, working in a welcoming primary school located near West Bromwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children from varying backgrounds. The school is passionate about involving parents throughout the learning process, ensuring their efforts are valued and that everyone is working towards the same objectives to support pupil progress and achievement.
This is a full-time Teaching Assistant position, working Monday to Friday during term time, earning minimum of £14.25 an hour. The role will involve supporting classroom teaching, delivering targeted interventions, and tailoring learning activities to meet the individual needs of the children in your care.
The Role
• Supporting children between the ages of 4 to 11
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND
• Delivering interventions to boost attainment levels
• Providing consistent, patient support to help pupils access learning and achieve positive outcomes
Requirements
• Hold a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• A caring and patient nature, with the ability to foster positive and meaningful relationships with all pupils
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Availability to work 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
