• Support pupils with SEND across the junior school age range
• Work 1:1 and with small groups to help children access classroom learning
• Support pupils with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs or SEMH
• Use visual supports, structured routines and positive reinforcement strategies
• Help pupils with transitions, classroom expectations and emotional regulation
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interaction
• Assist the class teacher with adapted resources and differentiated activities
• Work closely with the SENCO and teaching team to follow individual support plans
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs
• Experience in a primary, junior, SEND or care setting would be beneficial
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence supporting pupils both academically and emotionally
• Good classroom awareness and willingness to use initiative
• Reliability, consistency and a genuine passion for inclusive education
• Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term role from September
