Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a welcoming primary school.

The Role
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. Your responsibilities may include:
• Supporting pupils in the classroom with their learning and development
• Working with individuals and small groups of children
• Providing additional support to pupils who may have additional needs
• Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good relationships
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
• Passionate about working with children
• Patient, caring and approachable
• Reliable and enthusiastic
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Confident supporting children both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable
Essential Requirement:
Candidates must hold both a Child Workforce and Adult Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
