Job Title: Youth Worker
Youth Worker – SEMH & Challenging Behaviour
Position: Full-Time, Ongoing based in Ilford
Experience: Previous experience required
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Youth Worker to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour aged between 10-16.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young people, building positive relationships and helping students develop their confidence, emotional wellbeing and social skills.
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience working with young people with SEMH and challenging behaviour.
Be confident managing challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Build strong, positive and trusting relationships with students.
Be patient, resilient and empathetic.
Have excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
Be committed to helping young people reach their full potential.
Work effectively as part of a wider pastoral and education team.
