Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
1:1 Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools in Rochdale Start Date: January 2026 Pay Rate: £90.00 to £105 per day, experiance dependant Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s education? Do you have experience supporting students with additional needs? We’re seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and supportive primary schools across Rochdale starting January 2026. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a student who requires additional support to help engage with their learning and meet educational development goals. This will provide you with a rewarding opportunity to build strong professional relationships and directly contribute to the child’s progress and confidence. Key Responsibilities • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a student with additional needs (SEND, behavioural support, or learning delays) • Assist with classroom activities, promoting inclusion and engagement • Implement strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO • Maintain accurate records of progress and support provided • Support social and emotional development throughout the school day • Adapt learning materials to suit individual requirements • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals • Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing remains the highest priority What We’re Looking For • Experience working with children in an education or care setting • Supportive and patient nature with a passion for helping children succeed • Strong understanding of SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs) • Ability to build trust and positive relationships • A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment Why Work With Us?
