Job Title: EYFS Teacher (0.6)
JOB LOCATION:
Newton Abbot
Axcis Education are currently working closely to support a primary school in Newton Abbot, who are actively looking for an EYFS teacher for three days a week, working Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The hours for the role are 8.30-16.00 and the position is to be paid against Main Pay Scale. The position is to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the planning, teaching and assessment cycle in line with the Early Years framework.
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents.
• Contribute towards the school and the wider curriculum
• Be a team player and make an effort to become part of the team.
Person Specification:
•Experience in KS1 or the Early Years curriculum.
•Strong understanding of early learning goals.
•Knowledge of SEND, EHCPs, inclusive education practises, and academic assessment tools.
•Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
•Commitment to the school’s values of integrity, inclusion, compassion, safeguarding, and aspiration.
