Year 2 Teacher | Full-Time | LEO Academy Trust | West Molesey | October Half Term Start Location: West Molesey, Surrey Start Date: After October Half Term 2026 Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm Pay: £150–£190 per day PAYE, depending on experience Year 2 Teacher – West Molesey We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school within the LEO Academy Trust in West Molesey, Surrey. This is a full-time teaching position starting after the October half term, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher to become part of a supportive school community and make a positive impact on a Year 2 class. The Role As a Year 2 Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. Effectively manage classroom behaviour and routines. Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs. Work closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum expectations. Use assessment and feedback to help pupils achieve their potential. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school. Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Reliable, enthusiastic and committed approach to teaching. What We Offer Full-time teaching position from after October half term.
