Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester, Stockport, and Trafford
Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Contract Type: Long-term / Full-time
About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are looking for specialized SEND Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream and specialist primary schools. You will be supporting pupils with various needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Speech and Language difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Implementing personalized learning and behavioural strategies.
Collaborating with the school Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and class teachers.
Helping to manage emotional and behavioural needs with patience and empathy.
Requirements:
Experience supporting children or adults with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or physical disabilities).
Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
